Iran admits having weapons factories in "several countries"

Seventeen people, including six children, were killed early Saturday in an Israeli army bombardment that hit tents in the city of Asdaa, in Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, local medical sources said.
Among those killed in the attack were a 6-month-old baby, two brothers aged 13 and 10, and three children aged 10, 8 and 7, according to sources cited by the Spanish news agency EFE.
Also early in the morning, an Israeli drone killed two people in the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, sources at Al Awda Hospital told the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.
Medical sources said at least 36 people died Friday in attacks on the city, which Israel announced it would invade militarily. Nearly half of the Strip's hospitals and field hospitals are located in Gaza City, representing 40% of its total hospital bed capacity.
A poll conducted by the Maariv newspaper, and cited by the Times of Israel , shows that 62% of Israelis believe that the government led by Benjamin Netanyahu has lost the trust of the people.
When asked whether, "regardless of how they voted in the last election," they believe that "the Government has the nation's trust at this time," 27% of respondents responded that the Executive has the trust of the majority of the population, while 11% did not know how to respond.
26% believe Israel must reach an agreement, even if only some hostages are returned. 46% believe the government should sign a comprehensive agreement to end the war, and 18% believe the military should continue fighting Hamas, even if it puts the hostages' lives at risk.
The survey, with 509 respondents, was conducted between August 20 and 21, and has a margin of error of 4.4%.
Iran has reportedly built weapons manufacturing infrastructure in "several countries," the Iranian Defense Minister told the Young Journalists Club news agency, cited by the Times of Israel .
Still, Aziz Nasirzadeh didn't reveal which countries these are, arguing that "missile development" has been a priority, but that "after the war with Israel, priorities may change." These factories "will likely be officially opened and announced soon."
